The Steam Workshop integration is pretty impressive stuff, too, and it comes pre-loaded with some excellent examples of what the editor can actually do. Im sure many of us have been spending the weekend making all sorts of nifty maps and I figured that people have probably figured out how to do some pretty interesting techniques and item combos to expand upon the limitations of the current editor. The map editor is an update to Source SDK, and with it you’ll be able to create single player and co-op maps, as well as new. This free DLC is only available on PC and Mac, and while Valve hasn’t commented on whether or not these features will be coming to console I wouldn’t exactly hold your breath.
